As a new calibrated test facility, we welcome customers for confidential photovoltaic characterization under contract for their specific projects. A list of facility capabilities and fees are compiled below.
1. External Quantum Efficiency Measurement
a. Capable of measuring single or multi-junction solar cells, with light and voltage bias
b. Wavelength range of 350 nm to 1800 nm
c. Can perform absolute EQE on cells down to 5 x 5 mm
d. Temperature range of 25°C to 80°C
Typical Measurements: $1,560/8-hour day (CAD)
2. 1-sun photovoltaic efficiency measurements
a. Capable of characterizing bare cells or cell-on-carrier devices with an active area of up to 50 x 50 mm.
b. Calibrated 1-sun measurements under AM1.5G or AM1.5D reference spectra
c. Reference cells traceable to NIST
d. Relative external quantum efficiency measurements included
e. Temperature control from 15°C – 100°C
